Dvani was born from a simple observation: India produces some of the world's best engineers and scientists, yet millions of talented students never get the chance to reach their potential — simply because they don't have access to quality teachers.
Our founders, a team of educators and engineers from Bengaluru, set out to change this. Instead of building another app that needs expensive smartphones and fast internet, they designed a purpose-built learning device powered by on-device AI.
The result is the Ekalavya-1 — a dedicated learning companion that provides personalized, adaptive tutoring across all subjects, all boards, and all languages. Named after the legendary self-taught archer from Indian mythology, Ekalavya represents our belief that talent knows no boundaries.
